Ayubowan! Begin your culinary adventure in Negombo, a charming fishing village known for its diverse culture and vibrant flavors. Sample local Muslim cuisine, including the iconic Kotthu Roti. Afterward, relax and unwind at Pledge Escape for the night.

Day 01 – Negombo

Dive into the “Tree of Life” experience as you explore the versatile uses of coconut in Sri Lankan cuisine. Join a local family to prepare an authentic rice and curry meal featuring Negombo’s prawn curry. End your flavorful day with a comfortable stay at Pledge Escape.

Day 02 – Negambo

Day 03 – Dambulla

Travel to Dambulla and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Dambulla Cave Temple. Explore Sri Lanka’s largest wholesale vegetable market, sampling exotic fruits and vegetables. Later, settle in for the night at Sigiriyana by Thilanka.

Start your day with a sunrise climb at Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Later, enjoy a hands-on culinary session on a serene farm, preparing a traditional Sri Lankan lunch. Return to Sigiriyana by Thilanka for a restful evening..

Day 04 – Dambulla

En route to Kandy, visit Matale’s spice gardens to learn about Sri Lanka’s prized spices. In Kandy, enjoy an authentic dinner with a local family, learning to prepare string hoppers and delicious accompaniments. Spend the night at Hotel Thilanka.

Day 05 – Kandy

Visit the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a vibrant street food tour, sampling delights like savory and sweet hoppers. After a day of cultural and culinary exploration, relax at Hotel Thilanka.

 

Day 06 – Kandy

Experience one of the world’s most scenic train rides to Bandarawela. Enjoy breathtaking views of tea plantations and cascading waterfalls. Later, check in at Bandarawela Hotel for a cozy stay.

Day 07 – Haputale

Join tea pluckers at a plantation and visit a tea factory for a tasting session. Enjoy a traditional South Indian-inspired meal with fresh dosa and egg curry at a tea plucker’s home. Return to Bandarawela Hotel to relax for the night.

Day 08 – Haputale

Drive to Yala and experience an exciting jeep safari at Yala National Park, famed for its leopards and rich biodiversity. Unwind amidst the serene surroundings of Chaarya Resort.

Day 09 –Yala

Visit Hambantota to learn about traditional salt production before heading to Weligama. Prepare a seafood feast with a local fisherman, savoring dishes like Sri Lankan crab and calamari. Stay overnight at Paradise Beach Club.

Day 10 – Weligama

Relax at the beach or join a whale-watching tour in the morning. Later, visit the historic Galle Fort, exploring its colonial charm and local pubs. Return to Paradise Beach Club for your final night on the tour.

Day 11 – Weligama & Galle

Conclude your culinary journey with a visit to a local supermarket to stock up on authentic Sri Lankan spices and ingredients. Transfer to the airport, leaving with cherished memories of Sri Lanka’s vibrant culinary and cultural heritage.
